A first look at The Alchemist MediaCityUK

Spectacular views across the waterfront and a cocktail menu to die for – The Alchemist MediaCityUK is finally here.
The long-awaited arrival of the newest Alchemist branch has finally come and we headed down to take an exclusive sneak peak of the brand spanking new venue and what it has to offer.
The £1.2m development with eye-catching interior design has a unique and ‘futuristic’ architectural design, reflective of its surroundings in the tech-hub that is MediaCityUK.
Manchesed based Reid Architects have created something special with this build in conjunction with construction specialist Artez group. The dazzling gold clad roof and walls can’t be missed on the Salford Quays waterfront. The 4,900 sq ft space is uniquely positioned between The Lowry Theatre and MediaCityUK, which is home to BBC and ITV.
Simon Potts, Managing Director The Alchemist says: “This is our eleventh Alchemist in the UK and a significant one for the brand. This particular building has a unique and visionary design aesthetic as befitting our location, and the team are really looking forward to welcoming everyone who works and lives in this vibrant waterside community.”

Football, theatre and technology come together in this unique space which is constantly growing and evolving. Just like the Alchemist brand itself, which first started back in 2010 with the Manchester New York Street Branch and has since launched 11 sites across the UK including Leeds, London, Liverpool and Newcastle.
The MediaCityUK opening marks the 11th branch and has created 60 jobs in the area. The outdoor terrace area offers stunning views over Salford Quays, ideal for al fresco drinking and dining. Open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering an extensive selection of carefully crafted cocktails.
