Ark return breathes new life into Deansgate Locks nightlife

One of Manchester’s favourite night clubs will re-open its doors on Friday 24 August following an extensive £430,000 refurbishment.
With a brand-new face lift throughout the venue, punters can discover a premium clubbing experience influenced by a trip taken by the manager, to the infamous Tao in Las Vegas. The new-look décor includes exposed brick walls, plush VIP booths, Buddhist statues, red swashes of plush textured fabrics and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, to rival the best clubs in the UK.
The popular drinks range has also had an upgrade, with a range of classic cocktails, Cîroc vodka sharers, craft beers and a huge extended range of weird and wonderful spirits from across the globe! Ark will also be the first club in the UK to feature a Tattoo Martini range – three signature martini cocktails served with a bespoke fully edible paper tattoo adorned on the top – including the Manchester Bee, Ark logo, Sailor Jerry’s tattoo or it can even be personalised on special occasions, to feature either the face or name of the drinker!
The opening weekend will host a glamorous array of VIP parties on 24th and 25th August including the return of ‘Orderly Conduct’ – Manchester’s biggest Friday night – offering £2 drinks on top of the daily 50% off all drinks promotion. There’s also a secret launch party on Thursday 23rd August where access is only granted for those with a secret password found on the Ark Facebook page – if you find it, a free Tattoo martini awaits!
