The public art event will consist of a sculpture trail of super-sized bees dotted around the city. It will take place from July to September 2018 and hopes to bring locals and visitors together and encourage people to explore all of the incredible sites and landmarks that Manchester has to offer.
Sir Richard Leese, Leader of Manchester City Council said: “Bee in the City will build on Manchester’s reputation for innovation and the role that culture plays at the heart of city life.”
