Bluedot Line-up Announced!

Hope Primus | 29th January 2018

The award winning Bluedot festival is returning to the Jodrell Bank Observatory with a truly stellar line-up.

The 2018 festival has announced this year’s headliners as The Chemical Brothers?, The Flaming Lips ?and Future Islands?, who compliment a ground-breaking programme of live science experiments, expert talks and immersive artworks for one of Europe’s most unique festival experiences.

Manchester’s very own “The Chemical Brothers” have three decades worth of hits that they will be bringing to a very special UK show at Bluedot Festival 2018. With one of the most potent live shows on the planet, with a truly spectacular visual element, their return to the live stage is destined to be out of this world.

American champions of psychedelic pop, The Flaming Lips return to Jodrell Bank, securing  a place on the Bluedot lineup. Having performed a landmark show at the observatory seven years ago, the group plans to return with their acclaimed, euphoric live show and their huge catalogue of weirdo anthems.

Future Islands ?have established themselves as nothing short of one of the most incendiary live acts on the planet, with one of the most animated frontmen in the universe. They’ll be bringing their latest album ‘The Far Afield’ to Bluedot for an unmissable set and hopefully their standout US hit, ‘Seasons (Waiting On You)’.
