Carolynne Poole Showcases New Album with the Stars

County-pop singer, Carolynne Poole, was supported by her best friend Lucy-Jo Hudson and her husband Alan Halsall at her VIP album launch in Gorilla. Joined by a crowd of stars, the intimate event was kicked off by party starting tunes from our very own VIVA Ems. Carolynne went on to showcase some of her favourite songs from the upcoming album at the event hosted by award winning Heart FM Northwest Breakfast presenters Lorna Bancroft and Joel Ross.

Performing with a full 8-piece band, Carolynne unveiled a taste of her self-penned album, including ‘I Love You But Shut Up’ to a 350+ strong crowd of friends, family and VIP guests, including Catherine Tyldesley (Coronation Street) and Natalie Anderson (Emmerdale). The debut single will be available on iTunes from Monday 1^st June.

VIVA spoke to Carolynne ahead of the event, where she explained how a lot of the inspiration behind the songs were drawn from her time travelling in America, ‘One was written in a tipi at the top of a mountain in Arizona… Literally, in Nashville, it’s not all cowboy hats like you’d think, it’s just brilliant. It’s beautiful and everyone just loves music there.’ With an unbeat mix of country-pop and rock ‘n’ roll, Carolynne revealed that although there are occasional moving moments, fans should expect a lot of fun and positivity from the album and from the performances given at Gorilla, VIVA can certainly testify to this.
