Gaylia Kristensen is a new skincare range originating from Australia. They have recently made headlines with their Silk Luxury Hand Treatment Cream hailed as an “extraordinary anti-ageing product”.
We visited Rejuvenating Rooms, a beauty salon with a fabulous reputation. Run by Trina Bradley, Trina has been inviting clients into her wonderful rooms for the past 6 years.
As a fully qualified City & Guilds therapist, Trina has a full range of treatments which will all result in you feeling pampered, rejuvenated and leaving as the very best version of yourself.
Whilst Trina provides a whole range of treatments from CACI non-surgical facelifts to Lycon waxing and a nail treatment bar, we wanted to find out more about the new alternative facial by Gaylia Kristensen.
What’s more, Rejuvenating Rooms are the first beauty salon in Cheshire to offer the Gaylia Kristensen facial.
Situated in the outskirts of Wilmslow, Rejuvenating Rooms are set in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Trina is very particular when it comes to attention to detail, all the walls are soundproofed for an added sense of calm and tranquillity.
Upon entering the treatment room, I was given a brief as to what the facial would entail. Unlike any other facial I have experienced; this particular facial requires an affirmation statement. Half way through the facial Trina will tap certain parts of your face and neck, when she does this you must say your statement to yourself. The facial also involves a deep tissue massage of the shoulders and a hand and arm massage with the collagen face mask, which is applied towards the end of the facial.
The facial itself lasts 90 minutes. For practically all those 90 minutes I had zoned out, enjoying the sweet aromas of each skincare product, the relaxing massage and soothing music.
Afterwards my skin looked and felt amazing. My mind and body were completely relaxed, my mind had well and truly switched off from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
I would go as far as to say that the Gaylia Kristensen facial is probably the best facial I have ever had. It has been a few days since the facial and my skin feels a million times better. The dry skin around my nose has completely vanished and my complexion feels a lot clearer.
