On Sunday 26 March, City in the Community will host the UK’s first all blue colour run as part of its 30th year celebrations

Providing fun for all the family, the 5km route will see thousands of City fans doused in blue powder.

Open to all ages and abilities, fans are encouraged to fundraise for City in the Community, who are using the power of football to give 50,000 Manchester kids a better shot at life this year.

In its 30th year celebrations, City in the Community has launched its very first all blue colour run being held at the Etihad Campus on Sunday 26 March.

This family-friendly event will see thousands of Manchester City fans line up outside the Etihad Stadium ready to get covered from head to toe in a City blue colours. Open to all ages and abilities, the route encompasses exclusive access around the Etihad Campus.

Blue runners will have the options to run, stroll or even skip their way around the route with all participants encouraged to fundraise for City in the Community, who are using the power of football to give 50,000 Manchester kids a better shot at life this year.

Former City keeper and City in the Community ambassador, Alex Williams MBE said: “Every year, I’m inspired by the number of people who get behind the Club and City in the Community to take part in our fundraising events.

“Our Blue Run course is fully accessible and as the event falls on Mother’s Day, it’s the perfect way to get the family together for a brilliant day out. In our 30th year of making a difference in Manchester, we are calling on families to get involved and help raise money for the Foundation.”
