Last December the experiential brand took over London’s newest private members club, Alberts on Old Brompton Rd. This proved to be an exciting melee of uplifting house, with a crowd dressed to kill. The mix of Balearic beats and lights in a traditional British setting, playing to members and guests of the brand in full party season was electrifying.
Which is why we are all the more thrilled to hear about Blue Marlin’s next opening on the white isle – Coricancha.
Opening mid-May in Ibiza, Coricancha specialises in Nikkei cuisine – the blend of Japanese and Peruvian recipes that respect the traditions of these two very old culinary art forms. The restaurant will create a fusion of unique flavours out of the innovative and daring union of techniques and ingredients from Peru, Japan and Ibiza.
Coricancha means ‘Temple of the sun’ and makes reference to one of the most revered Inca temples in Cusco, Peru, where the sun god Inti was worshipped. Its wish is to transport the ceremony in time and space to Ibiza, welcoming clients for a gastronomic journey through ancient flavours. Watch this space.
