Ever wanted your hair and makeup done for an occasion very early in the morning or late at night but not been able to find a stylist?
Thomas Hope and partner Kunal Trehan from the renowned Touched group have launched an exclusive on-demand hair and beauty app to solve all of your problems.

Artisté is available on both Google and Apple platforms and provides an on-demand, luxury brand and service which allows you to book and be pampered wherever you are. The app has launched in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Birmingham with plans to launch in London and stretch right across the country.

Former Coronation Street Star Shobna Gulati was at the launch event for the app at Menagerie Restaurant in Manchester. As a busy working woman she feels it is important to have an app like Artisté: “you never know when you’re going to get the call to go out and do something, or even just go for a date, because I’m a single busy woman as well, so you just want to feel ready and confident!”

Founders Thomas and Kunal recognised the need to provide a high-quality service without any geographical boundaries or time constraints.

“It’s amazing to be able to combine that really high end luxurious feel with a salon environment, and sometimes without the limitations of geographic borders,” Thomas explains.

To make their app the best it can be, Thomas and Kunal enlisted the help of Brand Ambassador and stylist for the stars, Armand Beasley, who understands the importance of client perfection.

He said: “The people of Manchester know what they like, but they don’t like to be pigeon holed and that’s the great thing about Artisté; you can be whoever you want to be.

“Beauty for me is becoming an extension of you, it’s finding you.”

Armand has worked closely with the Touched group to invent his own exclusive ‘Metal Guru’ look for the app. “I wanted to create a fusion of metallic’s on the eyes, going from silver to gold to copper, really cascading across the eye, so flattering for any age and any eye colour,” he said.

The app also wants to remove gender and age constraints so that anyone of any age can feel special.

“Once again from young to old, we also have a genderless boundary. We can get people into the mood so that they feel and look great as they perform to be great.”

The app not only provides a high-quality service but also provides looks which allow the clientele to choose a personality and develop their own identity.

“Artisté is there to help people to think of their own identities and embrace themselves” Thomas explains.

Brand Ambassador Armand says: “It’s completely ageless, and I don’t believe in stereotypes. I think it’s about bringing out the confidence.”
