Dancing on Ice winner Jake Quickenden will be appearing at Manchester Arena on Tuesday 3 April (7.30pm) and Wednesday 4 April (2.30pm and 7.30pm) as part of the live stadium tour.

The live tour also features Love Island’s Kem Cetinay, Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford, Bucks Fizz star and presenter Cheryl Baker, as well as two-time Dancing On Ice winner Ray Quinn, who won in 2009 as well as the All Star series in 2014.

The hosts on the tour will be Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – and the guest judge will be Denise Van Outen, who has previously competed on Strictly Come Dancing.

The Manchester Arena audience can vote from their mobile phones for their favourite skating couple.  Audience votes will then be added to the scores from the ice panel judges to decide the overall celebrity winning couple. They will then take to the ice to perform a magical finale.

The finalists had to learn three routines, one choreographed by Torvill and Dean and they could choose their favourite from the series. The top two got to perform the Bolero, the dance that won Torvill and Dean the gold medal at the 1984 Olympics.

Jake, 29, who lives in Wilmslow with his fiancée Danielle Fogarty, performed A Little Less Conversation by Elvis vs JLX and his repeat performance was Canned Heat by Jamiroquai.

He was taken to hospital days before the two-hour live final with a dislocated thumb but that didn’t stop him performing dramatic lift with his dancing partner Vanessa Bauer.

After it was announced he was the winner, Jake said: “I can’t get my head around it! I might not have to do any more reality shows now!”

Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent was runner up in the Dancing on Ice final, so she danced the Bolero, as well as Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aquilera and revived her swinging Sing, Sing Sing by Bebo Best and the Super Lounge Orchestra.

Rugby player Max Evans was in third place and did not get chance to dance the Bolero after his first two dances but he will be joining the Dancing on Ice winner on the live tour.

Max performed Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf and Perfect by Ed Sheehan.
