Now in its 10th year, Boomtown returns for 2018 boasting a behemoth line-up for its nuclear power plant stage; Sector 6. With all passes and tickets selling out 7 months in advance; a record for the festival; 2018 is set to be bigger than ever.

With its steampunk-style set design Sector 6 looks and feels like no other. Featuring nuclear transformers blasting light, a circular projection screen and epic fireworks displays and acrobatics Sector 6 is nothing short of a marvel of design and engineering. It has also been given a new upgrade for 2018 expanding the stages presence across the site.

Debuting the best in underground electronic music Sector 6 will be erupting the whole weekend with a huge talent of DJ’s on its roster. Hospitality Records will be hosting a takeover featuring Camo & Krooked, Danny Byrd and London Electricity. From liquid to Neuro this takeover will satisfy everyone’s taste taking you through a journey of artistic styles.

After his 10-year hiatus Clipz (aka Redlight) will be reviving his former handle for a specialist set with some guaranteed new music. A big influence on Drum and Bass in its early years this revival will be one to watch. He will also be performing under his house orientated handle Redlight as well. Virus Records will be celebrating its 20 years with experts Ed Rush and Optical with a set of old and new and they will be sure to draw some of the biggest crowds of the weekend.

If you fancy a break from the industrial powerhouse Sector 6, across the field is the PSY Forest. With effervescent lights, hammocks and abstract artwork it’s a must see. Wonka-Vision will be taking over the forest for one night as they span a mind boggling array of genres. Boomtown has catered for everyone and as the countdown begins to summer and records have been broken we can’t wait to see what this year’s Boomtown has to offer.
