Endless Heights Wows Crowd at Satans Hollow

Up and coming Australian indie band Endless Heights recently supported hardcore punk band Casey at well-known Manchester alternative hotspot- Satan’s Hollow. The charming venue in which adorns its famous 10-foot demon within a haunted house setup would be considered as an extremely hard venue to play due to its small capacity- and if anything, to distract the audience from the wacky interior designs. Yet, Endless Heights surpassed expectations.

Lead singer Joel Martorana charmingly complimented the venue, saying;

“Good to be here in this… circle of hell of something.”

All the songs in which the band performed were taken off their new EP Vicious Pleasure, in which a clear established fanbase all sang along to.

The two previous support bands did not receive the best reception of the crowd, and clearly struggled to get them going- yet Endless Heights managed to pull them out of the funk and get them moving in preparation for Casey’s set.

Every member of the band throughout showed an extremely energetic and enthusiastic approach to the gig- clearly putting in their full efforts despite the size of crowd or venue.

Endless Heights slowed down the set at the track ‘Caroline’, which presented just Martorana and the two guitarists performing. This allowed the crowd to be able to see that not only were the band capable of a heavy set, but also an acoustic, slower track.

Martorana made it extremely obvious that there was some sort of emotional connection with this song through his expression, tone and attitude. The performance was extremely diverse in comparison to the other tracks- and managed to be executed almost flawlessly.

Although the crowd was small in again, a small venue, Endless Heights presented an excellent connection with them, dipping in with the heavier tracks and singing amongst front row fans, as well as laughing off individuals who landed up on stage whilst crowd surfing. The chilled and easy-going demeanor of the band was very obvious and clearly put the crowd at complete ease with them.

The fan base built within the UK is additionally clearly ever-growing. With copies of their records selling out within the merchandise booth (which Martorana sold and ran by himself alongside Casey vocalist Tom Weaver) halfway through the tour.
