Luxury online retailer Coggles.com has launched its brand-new flagship store in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. Since opening its doors on 2nd December, the 4,000 sq. ft. Coggles store is located on the ever bustling London Road.

Launched with a curated selection of luxury menswear, womenswear, homeware and beauty from brands including Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang, Christopher Kane, Margiela, Aesop, Tom Dixon and more, with each piece handpicked by specialist Coggles’ buyers.

The launch night itself consisted of a beautiful array of canapes from the much-revered Hale Country Club, and the drinks were served up in a spectacular splendour by local Alderley Edge resident, The Alchemist.

An extension of Coggles.com, the store is a destination for customers; providing lifestyle brands that go beyond fashion alone. The interior space mirrors Coggles’ attention to detail, together with its celebration of architecture and design.

The store also offers a VIP service for customers, with a private executive fitting room, as well as a door to door drop off service.

Occupying a former bank, the building’s unique features have been creatively repurposed whilst pieces of its history and character have been preserved. A mixture of wood, marble and raw concrete flooring runs throughout, together with the original parquet, whilst two restored vaults act as both a shoe and sneaker vault and an exclusive accessories area – all reflecting the premium nature of Coggles.

The interior features Tom Dixon lighting and a mixture of sleek and industrial design details, the Coggles store brings together old and new in a contemporary lighting design.

Furthermore, adding to the store’s unique appeal, Manchester based illustrator and author, Ben Tallon, whose book ‘Champagne and Wax Crayons’ was named 5th in Creative Bloq’s ‘top 10 graphic design books of 2015’, has created a bespoke piece of artwork which is displayed on the store’s wall and follows his recent work on the Coggles.com Christmas campaign imagery.

Marisa Shutt, General Manager of Coggles said:

“We chose this location in Alderley Edge for our flagship store due to its unique premises, which offer the perfect platform in which to showcase our global luxury brands and also because it’s one of the most prestigious destinations in the North West. The store is absolutely an extension of our online site, Coggles.com; and people can now come in and experience our brand across all touchpoints from our carefully selected Fashion brands, both established and emerging, to Homeware and Beauty, all under one roof.”
