Fit4Less opening

A brand new Fit4less gym has opened in Manchester Piccadilly and so we went to go and check it out. The gym or ‘tardis’ is deceptively larger than it looks from the street view, with a huge room full of high tech gym machines. They even have a virtual reality room where you can  exercise and pretend your on holiday at the same time (something we loved).  If you want you can just go in, get on a spin bike or grab a yoga matt, switch on the screen and follow your virtual trainer. The room can also be adapted to your own personal needs, so you can create a disco style room, with mood lighting at your disposal or a hot room to burn those extra calories. This along with all the other amazing equipment just shows that this gym is catered for every person in mind.

We chatted to the owner of the gym Karan Vij who explained “It’s all about customer service. We are really wanting people to be able to achieve the goals in their life whether that’s to lose weight or run in a marathon, we are here to support them”.

True to his word Karan made sure that the opening for this gym included everyone and anyone. They had an open invitation to their launch night which created a welcoming feel as anyone could pop in and have a little nosey. This meant that a large crowd of people gathered in the room all chatting, having fun and of course helping themselves to the free food and drinks. People also started trying out the gym equipment, not even heels could stop some people from getting on the treadmills and bikes (including us).

Pole dancers came and entertained the guests, whilst making some pretty hard moves look like anyone could do them. This of course made some people want to try it out for themselves. Shockingly, they couldn’t quite do the moves to the same standard as the professionals but they had a good go.

All the gym staff were there walking around and having a chat to people about what they could offer them. We spoke to a lovely guy called Scott who was a spin class instructor and we all agreed that we had never seen someone so enthusiastic about their job, it was really refreshing to see. In fact everyone working there were so keen to help and tell you anything you wanted to know so you didn’t feel helpless if you were unsure of what something was or how best to use it. This eagerness to help created that feeling of support that Karan was so keen on having and it made us feel welcomed into the gym, even with our heels on!

So if you are looking for a new gym to use and you live near Piccadilly Gardens then go and check out Fit4less gym and you will not be disappointed, we certainly weren’t.
