Neurovalens’ Modius is a weight-loss headset and app that stimulates the vestibular system, which is involved in balance.

It is a non-invasive, drug-free device that uses a method of electrical stimulation to activate the hypothalamus in your brain. This is interpreted by the brain as a signal to reduce body weight. The result of the stimulation is the brain decides the wearer simply needs to eat less.

 

VIVA Verdict: We trialled this out over a course of 30 days. The headset can cause a little dizziness whilst it’s on, nothing major, it’s sort of like being on a boat. However, we did see a change in appetite so for us it definitely worked!

VIVA Verdict: We loved the wide range of recipes and the workouts really built up a sweat. We do think this would be a lot more beneficial as an app, however a great site to get motivated and workout from the comfort of your own home.

We love the vegan protein, we tried the chocolate flavour and used with the steel shaker the protein stays cold. Great as a meal replacement or to take after a gym session.
