It’s true Viva has a very big heart, so we were happy to learn the charity Hearts in Harmony will host a classical music evening in London on Thursday 23rd June, to raise funds for a new heart defibrillator for children’s hospital Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The evening, entitled Tasmin Little & Orpheus Sinfonia, will star Classic Brit Award-winning Tasmin Little OBE and will be held at grand concert venue St John’s Smiths Square in Westminster. ?????????????

Tasmin Little will join critically acclaimed conductor Thomas Carroll, prize-winning pianist David Malusá and an orchestra of young musicians, to perform Orpheus Sinfonia.

The evening begins with a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm. Mozart’s Don Giovanni is set to open the concert, followed by a Chopin piano showpiece. Tasmin Little will then give a performance of Vaughan Williams poignant The Lark Ascending – voted the nation’s favourite work, and for which Tasmin Little has received international critical acclaim. The concert will then draw to a close with Beethoven’s magnificent fifth symphony. Tickets start from £10.
