Whether you’re heading off chasing the sunshine in the French Riviera or sticking it out and enjoying the best of the British summer, glowing skin is a must! This makeup look is sure to get you looking and feeling the part.

Hydration is key, start by prepping the skin with a beautiful illuminating primer. Here I have used B Cosmetics “B Prepared illuminating primer”. Whether you like a full coverage on the skin or a lightweight tinted moisturiser stick with something dewy and fresh like this “Nars sheer glow foundation”. You can always add good concealer on any areas you need more coverage. Try to use skin products containing SPF to ensure your skin is protected at all times.

The first step to vamp up your beautiful no makeup look is to add an extra glow using a super shimmering highlighter! During the height of summer this is the perfect opportunity to bring out all the shimmers and shines. I have used two of my favourite summer highlighters. Starting with Nars “South beach” cream multi stick and MAC cosmetics “Cheeky Bronze” swept across the check bones using my go to Cassie Lomas fan brush. Then lightly dab the highlighter over the cupids bow, under the brow bone and inner corner of the eyes.

SS16 is all about lashes and a little colour to the lip. Keeping the eyes super bronzed and defined I used MAC Cosmetics “Teddy eyeliner” smudged into the lash line and MAC “Cheeky Bronze” blush blended all over the lid as a shadow. For dresses up daytime I recommend a fabulous set of individual lashes, here I have used Ardell  knot free individuals to add a fluffy and natural yet glamorous feel to a more naked eye. They’re so easy to apply and if you use a good waterproof lash glue they’ll last you all day and night.

Finish off your preferred look with either a gorgeous peachy coral or an on trend matte brown lip. Here I have used NYX matte lip cream in “Cannes” for the brown and for the coral I used MAC Cosmetics “Koi Coral” with a little Vaseline pressed on top for extra sheen.
