Hope Primus | 20th February 2018

Imagination Station, Manchester’s fully equipped, pop-up creative centre has secured a space at The Mill Gate Shopping Centre in Bury for a pop up slime shop!

This slippery event will run from Wednesday 21 February to Sunday 25 February, 10am-5pm, giving mini slimers the opportunity to create a variety of gooey delights including floam, unicorn and butter slimes.

With demand for slime lab events going through the roof, Imagination Station will be popping up at various other locations across Manchester and Lancashire throughout 2018, with the next stop being The Phoenix Centre in Prestwich on Saturday 10 March for a “Mum You Rock” craft workshop.

During this two hour event, children will get the opportunity to create Stress Slime, personalised cards and keepsake boxes.

Imagination Station is the brainchild of event stylist Kelly Harris. After successfully launching The Place to Potter, a creative centre at Heaton Park Garden Centre, she is now taking the brand on tour. The tour will visit shopping centres, schools and community events across the region where non-toxic slime kits which make 8 different types of slime will be on sale.

Imagination Station MD Kelly Bentley said:

We had such a great reaction to our slime events at Heaton Park that it seemed only natural to take these fun-packed events to other locations. Where parents see mess, we see kids making memories and that’s what it’s all about. A child’s imagination is a beautiful thing and we love allowing them to release it through creative play. We’re currently in great demand for our mobile birthday parties and will be looking out for further locations for messy play events throughout 2018.”

With the nation going crazy for slime themed events, there will be a huge demand for these upcoming slime events with the Mother’s Day event set to be a sell out.

Non-toxic slime kits to take home will also be on sale which include everything to make up to eight different kinds of slime. These popular kits contain all of the ingredients to make both regular slime and floam slime (foam + slime) – a new craze oozing across the nation that allows slippery slime to be moulded into shapes by adding styrofoam balls.
