ØNE aesthetic studiø is THE go to facility  for the best possible aesthetic care.

ØNE combines art and medicine to create exceptional aesthetic results, and unlike other clinics, which concentrate purely on outer beauty,  ØNE blend not only physical appearance and good health, but also mental and spiritual well-being.

Dr Jonquille Chantrey, who heads ØNE, is regarded as one of the world’s leading aesthetic doctors.

She has been at the forefront of the cosmetic and aesthetic industry for fifteen years and due to overwhelming demand for her services  she has expanded her thriving ‘Expert Aesthetics’ practice and launched ØNE aesthetic studiø in the heart of Alderley Edge.

Jonquille took time out of her busy schedule to have a chat with VIVA about the very successful launch of ØNE, future events, and her experts at the studio …

VIVA: Thanks for inviting us to your launch. We loved it! We admire the style of the new studio, what was your inspiration with the design?

Jonquille: I’ve always loved interior design and I wanted a theme of East meets West, with a sophisticated mix of natural mediums with the flooring, worktops and use of sisal and natural greenery.

VIVA: Tell us about the murals,  they are really standout pieces.

Jonquille: My close friend and I wanted to bring a feel of the beauty of nature – hence the cherry blossom corner. The mural of lotus flowers, humming birds and butterflies signify growth, transformation and rebirth.

VIVA: What’s been the feed back from the launch night?

Jonquille: Incredible! We have had an overwhelming level of support and it has created a real buzz of excitement  about our services and ethos.

VIVA: Will you be having any other special events at ØNE soon?

Oh yes ! We are holding a new moon event on December 9th and a wonderful full moon workshop on January 21st  incorporating meditation techniques, cacao ceremony, healing and oracle cards.

We are also  planning a special event about Cool-sculpting fat freezing – the FDA approved alternative to liposuction in the new year as this is obviously when people want to improve their body self-esteem.

This will be a very special event  and will also focus on self love and our other well-being services, and be the perfect present to yourself  or a loved one for Valentines day. We are still in the planning stages but looking at either Jan 30 or 31st January for this. Once we finalise the schedule for the day we will post all information on our website for clients to then book on.

VIVA:  what is your ethos for ØNE?

Jonquille: We believe in empowering others to reach their highest potential. As a collective team of experts we care about the physical and mental health of our patients. We combine art and medicine to create exceptional aesthetic results, individually tailored. We help align the inner and outer beauty of our patients – and encourage them to celebrate it.

We are already considered globally to be one of the top clinics in the world for our expertise in aesthetic medicine and micro-nutrition therapy. Now we aim to be the leading clinic to blend not only physical appearance and health, but also mental and spiritual well-being.

VIVA: You have come very highly recommended to us, how long have you been in this industry?

Jonquille: My work in the international aesthetic medicine arena has been highly acclaimed for over 10 years and I have passed on my expertise to my clinical team.

In my first undergraduate medical degree I majored in psychiatry. Since then I have always focused on the inner self confidence and self belief systems of my patients. This year I also trained as a yoga teacher – for me development of the soul is a fundamental aspect of our inner health.

The world is becoming increasingly superficial where so many risk placing their self esteem on just external appearance. I have closely watched the detrimental impact that can have – chronically affecting peoples lives, relationships and careers. This is where we think differently. We celebrate individuality on a deeper level rather than on the whims of surface, mass media.

VIVA: Your slogan for ØNE aesthetic studiø is ‘the artistic balance of inner and outer beauty’ how will ØNE do this? And why did you name the business ØNE aesthetic studiø?

Jonquille: We have ØNE body, ØNE soul and ØNE life. We are considered one of the number ØNE clinics in the world for aesthetic medicine.

So many of us are becoming disconnected with our true selves or neglecting our appearance, our mental or physical health. With my team of unrivalled specialists in their unique fields we have created a space that blends our set of principles into an artistic movement. We fuse aesthetic medicine, nutrition, health, yoga, meditation, spiritual and personal development.

VIVA: It must be the best feeling making someone happier with the way they look and feel! Over your 14 years working within this industry is there one success story in particular that stands out from the rest?

Jonquille: I have so many, particularly in my trauma, burns and facial deformity work. I have looked after an incredible lady who at age eight was an aeroplane explosion victim and suffered severe facial burns. She lived her whole life in the shadows and then came to me age 47. I have treated her for almost nine years and her transformation is breathtaking. Not only are her scars and skin grafts less noticeable but she is now very confident and her self esteem radiates. Although I treat the outside of my patients, my focus is on the inside.

VIVA: You mentioned on launch night about working with a team of well-being specialists, can you please explain some of the services they will be providing at ØNE aesthetic studiø?

Ashleigh Guthrie, photo by Elspeth Mary Moore

Jonquille: Ashleigh Guthrie helps people connect with their true, inner most selves. She does this through meditation guidance using sound therapy, hypnotherapy and other meditation techniques. She has a broad client base which includes a lot of business people in the corporate world that have found huge benefit from her work. Helping others to find their inner freedom is a shared motivation between her and I.

We will also be working with top Consultant Cardiologist Dr Manish Motwani. He brings expertise from his time in Los Angeles and will be holding educational events to discuss our physical health at large.

Kerry Daynes – Consultant Psychologist and popular TV mental health expert will continue to work with us closely, providing not only private consultations to our patients but holding events to discuss practical tips on how we can emotionally detox and de clutter!

VIVA: Which treatments are your most popular and why?

Jonquille: Anti-wrinkle treatments also known as Botox is a safe, non permanent solution for brow lift, crows feet, neck lift and of course lines and wrinkles.

Dermal fillers are used for not only smoothing fine lines and wrinkles but we can restructure the entire face, creating a facelift, cheek contour, jawline definition and eye-bag reduction.

Platelet Rich plasma (PRP) uses the growth factors in a patient’s own blood to promote skin rejuvenation.

Facial peels and Theraclear laser are treatments to improve skin texture, vibrancy, acne and over all complexion of the skin and are minimally invasive.

Skin care consultations are used to protect the skin from environmental hazards, prevent ageing and combat fine lines, wrinkles and dull uneven skin tone.

Cool-sculpting is the number one fat freezing treatment in the world and is FDA approved. It can target stubborn fat in the abdomen, thigh, flank, under the chin, around the bra strap, back and underneath the buttocks. It works by delivering controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells.

Ultracel delivers non surgical skin tightening and lifting as well as addressing fine lines and wrinkles. The result is a lifted jawline, neck and jowl as well as tightening the skin. It is safe, clinically proven and taking the UK by storm.

VIVA: Please can you explain what plasma rich platelet therapy is and how it improves your skin?

Jonquille: Platelet Rich Plasma is separated from the patient’s own blood. The blood is collected just like a simple blood test at the GP. The growth factors and other regenerative molecules from the PRP are injected into the skin leading to collagen and elastin formation as well as cellular growth and skin remodelling, resulting in long-lasting skin smoothing, tightening and rejuvenation.

VIVA: How did you select your team of practitioners and what are their particular forte’s / strengths.

Jonquille: Mr Giuseppe Fiore is a highly experienced Italian trained surgeon who not only has excellent skills in aesthetic medicine but an artistic flair for creating beauty and attractiveness.

Dr Michael Barnish has a unique talent in functional medicine concentrating on nutrition, micro-nutrition, hormone therapy and health advice to his aesthetic patients giving them radiance and glow from the inside out. He also has a special interest in helping the LGBT community and transgender patients achieving their outer aesthetic goals through Botox and fillers.

Victoria is our highly trained medical aesthetician, she provides our patients with unparalleled outcomes in skin tightening, chemical peels, fat freezing and thread vein treatment. She is extremely passionate about skin health and body confidence.

Julie has a stand out exemplary record in her nursing career. She has worked in clinical trials, published scientific papers and been a nurse prescriber for 18 years. She nurtures her patients with compassion and has a special interest in PRP.

All of our clinical team have been with us for a number of years now and are trained to a world class level.

VIVA: What does the future hold for ØNE aesthetic studiø?

Jonquille: As a global thought leader in aesthetics, I am at the forefront of everything that is happening in the industry and I’m responsible for new ideas, techniques and bringing products to market.

Patient safety and results always come first – so we research everything extensively. We are looking to expand the services in the well-being side and will be holding workshops with international leaders in personal development, spiritual development, health and wellness.

As a world recognised clinic we have always attracted not only international patients but also doctors, and so we will be holding more in-house advanced teaching academies.
