LIAM GALLAGHER…MANCHESTER ARENA 16th Dec 2017…AS YOU WERE…

Manchester Arena is always a special place to see live bands and none more so than one of Manchester’s favourite sons, Liam Gallagher. As soon as he swaggered onto the stage with the air of a Rock god you knew you were in for something special. The crowd knew it and you could tell just by looking around that a party atmosphere had started.

Seemingly rooted in his classic ‘Gallagher’ pose centre stage in front of the mic, the guy oozes rock style that is difficult to define or explain considering how little he moves about on stage.

Of course the music helps and from the get go every song seemed to be a classic even though some were from his newly released album ‘As You Were’. The capacity crowd immediately felt comfortable in his presence while Liam and his tightly knitted band were banging out the new as well as the older tunes from the past.

For more than 90 minutes this 45 year old super star had the Manchester Arena consisting of teenagers and older Oasis baby boomers transfixed clearly loving every small gesture and word that spouts from the man’s mouth.

If there was a a Christmas present that ‘LG’ could give his fans this was it as the happy revellers filed out into the cold Manchester night, happy in the knowledge that it was hard earned money well spent.

Liam Gallagher just knows how to do it and anyone who was at the Manchester Arena on saturday night will remember this gig for a long time to come as he is surely up there with the best in Rock, ‘as you were’…
