With the success of her latest studio album ‘Seven’, pop and soul singer Lisa Stansfield triumphantly returned to Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall last September as part of her sold-out European Tour. This month she will be celebrating the release of the performance on her brand new album, ‘Live In Manchester’.

With a career spanning over thirty years, and boasting hit songs such as ‘All Around the World’, ‘Change’ and ‘All Woman’, Lisa’s return to Manchester was met with huge support and enthusiasm from her fans. Her warm welcome was unsurprising considering her most recent album charted in the UK Top 15. Fans, however, will know that Lisa’s talents are in no way limited to music. Not only has Lisa released and toured an internationally successful album in the last couple of years, she also landed a supporting role in the BAFTA nominated indie film ‘Northern Soul’.

Her Manchester performance was filmed by Tim Sidwell, director of the documentary project ‘Celebrating Jon Lord’, and then mastered at the Abbey Road Studios. Her husband and songwriting partner, the talented Ian Devaney, appeared alongside her as part of the band. Lisa was even joined by a horn section for the impressive show, which saw her perform both old and new songs to her hometown crowd.

‘Live in Manchester’ is set to be released on August 28th on earMUSIC as a 2CD album which will include 22 live tracks. The album will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray with an exclusive interview with Lisa in which she discusses ‘Seven’ and the inspiration behind her music.
