Lowry Outlet To Host Free Chocomania Experience Over Easter

Chocolate fans of all ages are invited to enjoy a free choc-tastic experience at Lowry Outlet, MediaCityUK, over the Easter bank holiday weekend, as ‘Chocomania’ returns for a second year.
Between Friday 25th and Monday 28th March, shoppers will be able to meet Willy Wonka and his Oompa Loompas, join in the golden ticket hunt on the outlet’s Wonka Bar Trail and tempt their senses at the outlet’s very own ‘Chocolate Factory’. The experience is a fantastic mix of sights, sounds and smells, complete with special effects and fun challenges along the way, transporting children and grown-ups into the world of pure imagination.
Following the success of last year’s event and the acclaimed Frozen Experience, by the same team, over the festive period, Lowry Outlet is expecting the four day event to prove extremely popular.
Helen Anderton, Centre Manager at Lowry Outlet, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Chocomania back to Lowry Outlet for the second year running. Our events are growing in popularity every year, and each year promise something even bigger and better.
“Our four-day Easter spectacular event is set to be full of fun and magical experiences and, as always, we encourage families and shoppers to arrive early to enjoy the full experience.”
Visitors to the outlet will also be able to browse an indoor Artisan Barrow Market featuring the finest chocolates, cakes and crafts by regional producers. In addition, a Sweet Treats Stage, located on the outlet’s first floor, will provide further entertainment with a wide range of free, live chocolate-themed demos, musical performances and more.
Retailers will be running their own special offers and promotions including the chance to win a Dolce Gusto Oblo Coffee Maker from Tefal worth £89.99. Customers are advised to note that stores are open as normal throughout Easter weekend, excluding Gap Outlet, M&S Home and M&S Outlet and Next Outlet who will be closed on Easter Sunday due to trading laws.
Entry to the Chocolate Factory is free on completion of the Wonka Bar Trail. Customers will be asked to present their golden ticket at the entrance and as many people as possible will be accommodated.
