After release of brand new music, Manchester solo artist to perform live for first time

MANCHESTER, U.K. (March 2016) — Lusaint is proud to announce that she will be debuting at Braille at Islington Mill on 15th April, 2016.

The first Braille event, hosted by Inigo Ford and Stephen Hermitt at the Islington Mill, will showcase the first ever live performance of Lusaint. The band will feature Lucy Hopkins on vocals, Bjorn Woodhall on guitar, Laurie Agnew on cajon and Ben Smith on keys.

Afer working with Manchester producer Bjorn Woodhall to produce a brand new sound, Lusaint will be debuting her new material including a number of original songs. The Braille gig comes just in time for the release of Lusaint’s new music.

The first single will be ‘High’. The track is rich in sound, with strong vocals. Reminiscent of Lorde’s laidback tone, the sound is eerie yet energetic with the instrumentals bringing a range of depth to the flawless vocals.

Lusaint is the new project from rising singer/song writer Lucy Hopkins. Together with a well thought out backing band, Lusaint is planning to take the Manchester music scene by storm and redefine the tone of the female vocalist into a much edgier yet powerful form.

Braille at the Islington Mill is open to all. Tickets cost £3.
