Macdonald’s Massage Marathon

The best event ever is happening on the 19th September at 11 am and you will want to join in! Macdonald hotels and resorts are hosting a nationwide massage-athon to launch Spabreaks.com’s Women’s Wellness Week, in partnership with the Willow Foundation and Britmums.

Women’s Wellness Week dedicates a whole week to us hard working women. It encourages women to discuss issues affecting women’s physical and emotional well-being, with the aim of encouraging all women to prioritise their health by taking a little time each day to do something for themselves. Which, let’s all be honest, sometimes we forget to do-plus who doesn’t love a good massage?

As part of its commitment to women’s wellness, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts will provide one hour of ‘massage’ time across all of its 24 spa venues during the Massage-athon. The full body massage treatments are being given free but each spa will be welcoming donations to the Willow Foundation which organises special days for seriously ill young adults – allowing them to take time out from fighting their illness and do something they enjoy.

So for those of you who are dying for some relaxation but may not have the funds to get it, then this is a perfect way of taking care of yourself and your bank account. Plus by popping along to get a well-needed massage and donating to the Willow Foundation, you will not only be tending to your own needs but you will also be helping others get a special day that fills them with joy and happiness.

For the event, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts will be launching a new Spa Day and Lunch with Elemis Biotec Facial which will help you escape reality and bathe in the luxury world of pure relaxation and happiness. The spa day includes a 55-minute personalised ELEMIS Biotec experience, full use of the facilities including robes, slippers, fluffy towels, a nutritious spa lunch and a glass of Prosecco.

To celebrate #WE11NESSHOUR Macdonald Hotels & Resorts are also giving the public the chance to nominate their wife, partner, sister, daughter, aunt or best friend to win a 55-minute Elemis Couture Touch treatment by ‘liking’ a post on the spa operator’s Facebook page and commenting on why they deserve to win.
