Bloom Gin and Rosylee Restaurant & Bar are delighted to announce the opening of Manchester’s first Bloom Gin Terrace at Rosylee utilising the fabulous outdoor area at Rosylee in the Northern Quarter.
The Launch on Wednesday 13th July marked the opening of the Bloom Gin Terrace which will run until the end of the summer season. The outdoor spectacular will be the only terrace operating outside of London, making it a unique seasonal haven for exquisite cocktails.
The terrace will be serving a bespoke menu of five cocktails, including favourites and classics, such as Bloom Elderflower Crush, Bloom Gin & Tonic with Strawberries, Bloom French 75, Bloom Pear Bellini and Bloom Honey Bee.
Mark Andrew, managing director at MAD Ltd who owns Rosylee said:
“We wanted to celebrate our amazing outdoor terrace at Rosylee in style this summer, and we know how much Manchester folk love gin – so we’ve created the perfect place for them to indulge in their favourite tipple.”
BLOOM Gin Marketing Manager, Kate Harrison, said:
“We are delighted to be partnering with Rosylee for our first BLOOM Gin Pop Up Bar in Manchester. This is the perfect fit for our award-winning gin, created by Joanne, one of the world’s most talented Master Gin Distillers.”

VIVA girls were invited to the VIP party which launched the terrace’s opening. A complimentary taster on arrival of the divine Bloom Gin and Tonic with strawberries started the evening off exquisitely and as guests arrived, a fabulous ambience was created.
Our very own VIVA Ems headlined the event as DJ and provided the cool mix of contemporary tunes helping set the fun vibes that circled the sophisticated bar.
Complimentary drink tickets were handed out and guests could experiment with the Honey Bee and French 75 cocktails. The subtle yet unique kick of the beverages added further excitement to the evening and visitors socialising helped to provide the buzz in the atmosphere.
At 7pm the VIVA girls, along with other guests, participated in a masterclass directed by Gin Distiller Joanne.
After hearing Joanne’s admirable story about creating the Bloom Gin varieties based on favourite flower scents and viable gaps in the market for a unique gin, the masterclass attendees discovered the different scents and flavours used in the Gin beverages.
The gin had a totally unique and slightly sweet taste created by a bespoke blend of the 3 botanicals – honeysuckle, chamomile and pomelo.
A taster of the London Dry Bloom Gin was offered and safe to say the 40% alcoholic and distinctly floral beverage inspired by the true beauty of nature went down a treat!
Overall the evening was superb and great fun.
