Have you ever wanted food that tastes so good, all you can think about for weeks after is going again? Have you every wanted to try something spectacular and know that you have just bought the cheapest heavenly experience ever? If not, then you clearly haven’t tried the new menu at Odd Bar.

It offers something for everyone, from a £5 lunch menu, to a delicious dinner range- full of mouth watering dishes. They also have 50% off food all day Thursday, so you can’t go too far wrong.

After looking through their amazing menu and sipping on a rather delightful cocktail, we decided that we had to try the salt and pepper chicken wings and some tapas dishes.

Chilli BBQ beef nachos

We chose the 5 tapas for £20 and got: the steak and cheese roll, which was delicious, although hard to consume in a polite manner. The spring vegetable crispy parcels, this was a near favourite for me as it tasted amazing and the dip of soy sauce it came with helped the flavour really burst in your mouth.

Our third option was the Mac and cheese. This was probably my least favourite as whatever seasoning or herb they put on the top of it didn’t agree with my taste buds. But the Mac and cheese underneath the topping was delicious.

Next up on our tapas list was my go to dish on any menu, nachos! However, these weren’t just ordinary nachos, they were pilled high with chilli BBQ beef, along with the usually guacamole, cheese, salsa and jalapenos. This was actually the biggest dish we had and despite how nice they were, by the time we got round to eating them we were pretty stuffed! But for their price they are definitely worth trying.

Saving the best till last, we ordered the Goats cheese & red pepper crispy balls. This is something I was excited to try because I love goats cheese and I was definitely not disappointed! It was like a little ball of cheesy heaven, as you bit into the crispy outer layer goats cheese started to ooze out. Then the strong flavour of the cheese came through along with the delicious and soft red pepper, complimenting each other in every way possible.

I literally could have just had an entire bowl of these! It was one of the best dishes I have tried in a long time.

So if you are looking for a new menu to try or you are having a dinner/lunch on a budget, but you still want good quality food-then this is the best place to go. Whether you are a student, passer by or a local in Manchester, you must go and try out Odd bars new menu!
