Pampering At The Dalton Street Salon

Last week I was invited down to The Dalton Street Salon for a bit of much needed pre-weekend pampering. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who seated me and offered me a drink. My hairstylist, the salon owner Lisa, was with me immediately and ushered me to one of the seats.
We started with a little chat to discuss my hair, Lisa asked me what type of hair I’ve got, what products do I use and suggested the hair cut I would suit. This was quite a short bob but I was open to anything. She then washed my hair and put in some protein hair mask. Then I was seated back in my chair and had my hair chopped. After that I received an amazing blow dry. I was in love with my new and sleek bob.
After that I was seated at the nail bar and had gel nails done. I was spoilt for choice when it came to choosing the colour, they had so many beautiful colours. Abbie advised me on which colour would suit my nail shape (this was being dark maroon). The job was done very quickly in comparison to some other salons yet it couldn’t look more professional.
What I really like about this place is the fact they use Neal&Wolf hair products, a high quality hair products brand, whose products are priced very reasonable (about £12 for a bottle of shampoo) therefore if you want to carry on with hair salon quality treatment at home, you can do it without breaking your bank.
Another great thing was that The Dalton Salon is not just another hairdresser, where you feel uncomfortable and get the feeling the place is just after your money. The girls at the salon couldn’t be friendlier and make you feel very welcomed. I was leaving relaxed and ready for the weekend ahead. And that’s exactly how it should be.
