Perrier-Jouet Brings Nature To Life In A New Interactive Garden Of Wonder At The Refuge

SAM | 26th October 2017

A Champagne house has created an interactive ‘Garden of Wander’ at The Refuge on Oxford Road to celebrate the launch of its new cuvee.

Manchester’s movers and shakers were some of the first in the country to taste Perrier-Jouët’s new Blanc de Blancs NV and interact with the pretty installation this week.

Opening to the public on Friday 27th October, the garden is situated in the middle of an 18-seater table and guests can use augmented reality to interact whilst quaffing Champagne.

Butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and dragonflies come to life through the free-to-use ipads provided – or you can download the app for free on the Apple App store and use your own iphone for the experience.

This little urban oasis brings to life the idea of utilizing nature to reintroduce beauty into urban environments.

You could even try pairing bubbles from the Champagne house on offer at The Refuge with the restaurant’s food menu to create a sumptuous five-course feast.
