On the 21st of April 2015, Queen Elizabeth II will be celebrating her 89th birthday. To mark the occasion, an infographic has been created that reminds us of all the key events that have happened in her life and her many achievements during her reign. It includes many significant moments of her life including her coronation, the dates in which she celebrated her silver, gold and diamond jubilee and fun facts about her corgis, her jewellery collection and her ability to speak fluent French.

Queen Elizabeth celebrates two birthdays each year. Her actual birthday is the 21st of April and her official birthday is always on a Saturday in June. The sovereign is given two birthdays so that if their original birth date is not in the summer, they are given one so they can have a birthday parade, otherwise known as Trooping The Colour. Queen Elizabeth usually celebrates her actual birthday in private. Fortunately, there will be a public celebration this summer in London to celebrate the occasion.
