Halloween has officially kicked off and opened with a bang of glitter and amazing performances from the Festival of the Dead.

The festival of the dead is back, and opened with chapter 2 in Limbo at Bowlers in Manchester, opening their gates of hell for all to enjoy a fantastic night with dazzling performers and DJ’s.

Once entering upon the glamorous festival, all people were dressed in Halloween costumes. Mostly representing the dead to still fit in with the theme. Everyone showed off their glimmering face paints, and glowing costumes. It was hard to stand out since everyone put so much effort into their makeup/face paint and costumes.

Outside, the massive warehouse, they offered festival goers the chance to enjoy the mini theme park, with some scary rides that would take a lot of courage to get on.

The festival itself was full of uniqueness, magic, and of course, talent. The amazing performers that through themselves from the stage onto the rope that was hanging from the ceiling, twisting their bodies round, showing off what they can do and giving the audience something to remember. In their dazzling outfits, they looked like beautiful creatures from the night that were luring their audience members in for a good time.

Off stage was just as crazy. With a gigantic skull roaming through the crowd, acrobatics on the tallest of stilts and drummers and dancers entertaining the crowd. With all the twists and bends and creativity of it all, this was a festival that had been trained and prepared for.

Fire breathers were among the many of the gorgeous performers too. Dragging flames across their bodies to lighten up the darkish room, covered in skulls dangling all over with all other kinds of creepy.

The dancers which continued to flourish through the night gave spectacular performances. Even the audience danced away all night to the music being played by the DJ’s. Giving a good mixture of music for everyone to enjoy. House, bass, pop, remixes and Latin music entertained everyone all night, blasting from the speakers. Good music, good vibes.

It’s sure that everyone will be excited for the next festival of the dead event to happen and take their audience members back into Limbo to celebrate the unleashing of the dead.
