Red Bull Music and IAMDDB collaborated together for her very first series of headline shows in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and London making every show a different theme.

IAMDDB aka Diana DeBrito is a trap/jazz artist from Manchester who is best known for her single “Shade” which she released last year soon after her album “Hoodrich”. Since then the 0161 girl has been taking over the world making appearances at the Brit awards and performing on international tours.

When I arrived at Hidden I was quite surprised as the venue was quite small and looked more like a club then a concert venue but as Manchester’s DJ duo Tetu took to the decks the atmosphere began to fill with energy. The dress code and theme for this concert featured back to the 90s, on arrival fans received roses.

Around 9:30pm IAMDDB arrived on the stage. As the venue was so small I found it hard to see her because I was so far back. She came out to the first song on her album “Conjuring” and as soon as the crowd heard her vocals screams filled the room.

As she ran through songs from the “Hoodrich” album she ended the show with the crowd’s favourite “Shade”. As soon as IAMDDB announced that she was about to play the song the whole crowd created a giant mosh pit in the middle of the venue and every single member of the crowd jumped in it as she belted out the track. She then played it for the second time calling members of her crew on stage to share the energy of the song.

Overall, I would say this was one of the wildest concerts I have ever been to with one of the best live crowds I have ever experienced. However, I would add that a bigger venue was needed to showcase her set and this would allow everyone to get a better view.
