Rock and roll at Selfridges as the department store kicks off Christmas in true style

Christmas has officially arrived at Selfridges with the opening of the Christmas shops, the launch of the Christmas campaign and the arrival of festive product and exclusive gifts at all of its stores.
It has unveiled its new Christmas Shop channeling the theme Selfridges Rocks Christmas.
Both stores are offering pulse-raising gifts and a headline-worthy line-up of events in store, encouraging customers to turn up the volume and bring glam rock to the party this Christmas!
The department store is known for its exclusively unique gifts and this year is no different as it introduces some of the best items and there’s even presents for those people that are the most difficult to buy for.

Christmas Events at Exchange Square
Santa’s rock and roll parade
1st , 8th & 15th December, 1pm – 3pm
Santa’s turning the party mood up to 11 this Christmas as he invites you to join him for a wild in-store
celebration. Watch cannons fire glam rock-style confetti into the store as Santa pulls some frontman-worthy moves with his dancers.
Roaming Santa and Elf
24th & 25th November, 1st, 2nd, 8th 9th, 15th,16th 22nd, 23rd & 24th December, 12pm-6pm Santa and his Elf will be roaming across the store on Saturdays and Sundays throughout November and December.
Manchester means music
2nd, 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th & 20th December, 6pm – 9pm
Enjoy your favourite rock tunes performed live in store at a number of ‘Manchester Means Music’ events – in
celebration of the city’s legacy as home to some of the world’s most famous rock’n’roll bands. Performers will be
rocking the store every Thursday and Sunday throughout December – with some special surprises for shoppers!

On Saturday 22 December (12pm to 3pm), it’s really time to get in the festive spirit as a special Christmas choir will be performing live.

Join Santa as he hosts a decadent festive breakfast and receive a gift bag full of surprises. Enjoy delicious food and drink with your family, while listening to his fascinating stories about his reindeers and elves.

Christmas Eve box workshop

Join us to make a surprise gift for Santa and his helpers to discover when they’re delivering presents on Christmas Eve. Fill your box with presents you make for them before enjoying a tasty Christmas sweet treat and drink with your family. Listen to stories about Santa’s reindeers and elves as you wait for Santa to drop by to say hello.

Now here’s a class that’s definitely not boring…Its Rock School is hosted by our its very own musical directors who will teach each pupil what it takes to be a veritable rock god.
