The Grosvenor casino VIP experience

The Grosvenor casino can be a great place to go for a bit of fun. From poker to digital blackjack, they have it all and now they have a brand new food menu too making it all the more tempting to go for a night.

We went along to the Grosvenor on Bury New Road in Manchester to experience their VIP package and find out about what they have to offer. The Full house package we received is £30pp and includes a three-course dinner and drink, £5 gaming chip and £5 slots vouchers with a private gaming tuition.

First of all, we got a tour around the games tables and digital betting rooms to see the variety of games they have (they have a hell of a lot). Then a lovely guy called Michael gave us a taste of the casino experience helping us learn how to play the casino games with a bit of extra sass to make the night as fun as possible.

Next up we had an amazing sit-down meal (included in their VIP package) I had the spicy chicken wing starter (£4.95) They definitely weren’t as spicy as the two warning peppers indicated, which was ok for me as spice burns my mouth off. However, these definitely weren’t the best chicken wings I have ever had and they should really have been marinated in the spicy sauce rather than it be drizzled over the top of them, but they were nice nevertheless.

For mains, I chose the boneless beef rib (£13.95) and it was so tender it fell apart with the slightest touch. They also had a bourbon glaze over them which gave them that extra flavour kick and I can honestly say this meal was divine! Served with cheesy potatoes and some greens it made a nice well-rounded dish that I can’t wait to go back and have again.

The friends I was with had both the fillet steak and the rib eye steak which were both served with coleslaw, chips and onion rings. Whilst these dishes were on the more expensive side, priced at £19.95 & £18.95 they were cooked to perfection and the price is actually a bargain compared to what you pay for steak elsewhere.

Because the food was so delicious we filled up and so opted out of having desserts, however, this is included in the full house package.

So if you are wanting an alternative place to eat and have some fun, then the Grosvenor casino is the place for you. There is a variety of different packages that you can buy which include anything from food, to free gaming chips. So you can go for the VIP experience or just for a fun little outing with friends.
