The Hunger Games will be coming to British shores in a world exclusive, full live orchestra, cinematic concert experience.

The tour will be travelling to Manchester, Bridgewater Hall, on 12th July 2018, bringing The Hunger Games to life with its renowned and imposing soundtrack played by a full symphony orchestra.

It will then travel to Liverpool and London before finishing up in Birmingham.

Based on the trilogy of young adult fiction books by Suzanne Collins, the film is set in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future, telling the story of Katniss Everdeen, who takes part in the hunger games – a televised competition in which the twelve districts of the country of Panem choose a person at random to fight to the death.

The Hunger Games has won many awards, including Best Actress at the MTV Movie Awards for Jennifer Lawrence’s performance.

The cast also features Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Toby Jones, and Donald Sutherland.

James Newton Howard, composer of the cinematic concert, has scored over 100 films and has been awarded a Grammy Award, Emmy Award, and eight Academy Award Nominations for his work.

The emphatic score for The Hunger Games is as magnificent as it is bold. Canadian Indie Rock behemoths, Arcade Fire, also contributed to the movie’s original score.

Tickets are still on sale with prices for Manchester varying between £66, £50 and £39.50.
