Lack of thorough preparation is a main reason gym goers looking to change their physiques fail.

Preparation involves planning exercise, recovery strategies and of course, your nutrition around your weekly schedule. Below are a few helpful tips to avoid being caught short in your quest to achieve lasting change.

  • FOOD PREPARATION

Preparing the night before is a massively impactful strategy. Cooking and portioning it up into tupperware boxes is a great way to do this. However, as winter is well and truly with us, try using a slow cooker for your food. Prepare, cook overnight, use thermos food flasks to have hot, tasty food all day. It usually works out cheaper than grabbing a sandwich too!

  • TRAVEL

If you travel for business, plan by researching whether your hotel/local area has a gym and if there are any good quality food outlets nearby. By doing this you will not be caught off guard and can prepare before you travel.

  • TRAINING
