This Is Your Chance To Be A Ghost Hunter!

Bethan Holmes | 2nd November 2017

The historic Palace Theatre in Manchester is set to thrill spook-seekers with a unique opportunity to explore the theatre after dark.

The theatre is offering a chance to see what happens once everyone goes home and the spirits come out to play.

The new Dinner and Ghost Hunt will be the first time the public are allowed to experience such thrills, with November already being sold out.

The event will offer an opportunity to have dinner and drinks in the Oxford Street Bistro from 8pm.

They will then be taken on a tour to find out what spirits await!

The theatre is one of the oldest buildings in the city, so it’s no surprise to hear that ghosts run wild after hours.

One reported sighting was in the 1980’s, where a former cleaner had been spotted drifting around the building in a grey mist.

Sarah Bleasdale, General Manager at the Palace Theatre and Opera House is thrilled by the experience they are offering: “This is a rare opportunity to explore this vast historic building at night and experience the often spooky atmosphere that only a building of this magnitude and history can create.”

Staff and visitors have been reporting these spine-chilling stories for years, so the venue are ‘very excited’ to share the tales to the public.

Tickets are priced at £49.00 which includes a two-course dinner and a drink.

There are still tickets available for Friday 1st December and Saturday 3rd February.
