The Liquor Store is set to open its second Manchester bar this week on the growing First Street scheme near Oxford Road.

And you can be first to try one of its cocktails before Manchester’s movers and shakers drink the bar the dry at its VIP launch on Thursday.

The original Liquor Store bar – just off Deansgate on the corner of Parsonage and Blackfriars – opened in 2012.

It has since been rated number one bar in Manchester as well as winning numerous accolades for its impressive list of cocktails.

Passionate service from one of the city’s best bar teams delivers a whole host of cocktail creations, wines, beers, spirits and great grub to get your gob around.

There’s no contest when it comes to their mixing skills and we reckon the concept will equally please punters on the other side of the city too.

Here’s our 3 favourite cocktails that you can try right now at Liquor Store, Deansgate, and before Liquor Store First Street opens at the weekend.

  1. The Judge Fudge – Vanilla Vodka, white chocolate liquor, malt mixture, walnut bitters, milk and cream, salted caramel syrup, whipped cream and a finger fudge.judgefudge
  2. Jumping Jack Flash – American calvados, apricot liquor, peach and honey water, mint, lemon juice.Jumping Jack Flash
  3. St Hendricks Elderly Rose – Hendricks, San Germain elderflower liquor, rose liquor, rose syrup, lemon juice, apple juice and topped with prosecco.Cocktails, The Liquor Store
