With Black Friday only a few weeks away and Christmas around the corner, we have turned our attention to some of the most talked about Christmas trends in the foodie world this year.

The much-loved pigs in blankets are even bigger and better this year. With Aldi leading the way, they have created a footlong version of pigs in blankets.

Heston Blumenthal does it again! This year your guests can enjoy black profiterole ‘coals’ with a flame-coloured mandarin orange crème pâtissière filling are drizzled with a warmed smoked orange caramel sauce and scattered with popping candy.

  1. Chocolate & Caramel Gingerbread Man – ASDA

This year’s trending indulgent ingredient is salted caramel. ASDA’s Chocolate & Caramel Gingerbread Man is sculptured out of sweet chocolate mousse, laid on a biscuit and caramel base and coated in white chocolate and bronze shimmer.
