This six-piece band from Warrington/Leeds is almost impossible to pin down and what I mean by that is their music is made up of a plethora of genres. From house music to rock this band has it all! 2. Blossoms

After hearing that this band was from Stockport I immediately went to listen to a few of their songs. I love their youthful energy as it makes them stand out from other bands that are also under the umbrella of the popular genre, indie pop. With 352,742 monthly listeners on Spotify and one of their singles making BBC Radio 1’s track of the day, this band is sure to make it big.

3. Shura

With her music being consistently compared to 80s divas like Madonna and Whitney, Shura is defintely bringing something new to the current music scene. Her music can be described as Electropop/New Wave and so is perfect to listen to this summer. It would definitely be worth checking out her new album, ‘Nothing’s Real’.

4. Hinds

Hinds is an all girl group from Madrid, Spain; they are fun, upbeat and very garage rock! The Strokes, The Vaccines and The Parrots are just a few of their influences. Don’t miss their gig at the Manchester Academy.
