VIP Vlogger Defines Manchester’s Beauty Style

Manchester Arndale is celebrating all things beauty next weekend (2-3 April) with MCR Made Up, two days of beauty for him and her, Manchester style.
MCR Made Up will take place in Exchange Court (outside Next) and will include stunning mini beauty tutorials for shoppers from top brands including Dior, Benefit, Topshop and Lush, retailer discounts, goodie bags and live beauty demos.
International make-up artist and Vlogger, Jamie Genevieve, joins the event as a VIP guest from 10:30am-11:30 on Saturday 2 April. Jamie has exclusively designed four key Manchester beauty looks that she thinks epitomise Mancunian glamour;
• “The MCR eyeline”, a feline eye flick worthy of Deansgate nights out or a dressed up daytime look.
• “MCR bare-faced cheek”, highlighted strobing for flawless skin every day.
• “MCR City Slicker”, a bold and slick straightened hairstyle for the brave and polished.
• “The MCR pout”, a nude lip with a bold liner for a glossy finish.
Jamie designed the looks exclusively for the event, based on her experience working in Manchester and the city’s top make-up artists. She has forecast that the looks will be key for SS16 and has created a set of video tutorials demonstrating how to replicate each style. Jamie will demonstrate the four Mancunian looks live at MCR Made Up during her slot in the event’s beauty hub on Saturday 2 April.

The first 1,000 shoppers to pre-register for MCR Made Up at manchesterarndale.com before 12noon on Thursday 31 March, will receive an exclusive goodie bag. Pre-registered visitors can also enjoy visiting beauty experts, picking up exclusive offers and discounts from their favourite brands, plus a “How to Beauty Guide” designed by international make-up artist and Vlogger Jamie Genevieve.
MCR Made Up will take place in Exchange Court from 10am-6pm on Saturday 2 April and 11am-5pm on Sunday 3 April.
