12314345_1104804782871267_4701143042002352667_oAs Warehouse Project grows bigger and bigger, the acts become more and more diverse. Although live acts are no stranger to the Store Street venue – with VIVA girls getting to enjoy Caribou last Halloween and an outstanding live performance from Danny Brown last year – this upcoming Friday holds one of the most anticipated live acts in WHP history.

Not only is Scottish DJ and Warehouse Project favourite Hudson Mohawke not only performing live as well as a DJ set in the same night. Fresh from his second, critically acclaimed album Lanterns, we can’t wait to see what Hudson Mohawke has in store for us this year.

And not only do we have this double set to look forward to, but for his yearly curated night with WHP he’s managed to score one of the biggest names in the music industry.

In case you didn’t know already, Mark Ronson will be taking the stage at Store Street by storm. After one amazing summer for the musician, following the success of Uptown Funk with Bruno Mars and an outstanding Glastonbury set including Mary J. Blige, G Clinton & Grandmaster Flash, we can’t wait to see what Ronson pulls out of the bag for this special night.

These two headliners aren’t the only people to look forward to for this particular Warehouse Project, however, with talent being drawn from across the UK (and New York) for us all to get excited about. Be sure to check out Novelist’s set – the 18 year old has been shaking up the grime genre for years, even being called the “new face of grime” by Resident Advisor. Littlebabyangel has also been one of the freshest sounds this year – make sure to see them before their eventual rise to notoriety next year. The Montreal based artist is definitely one of the people you want to be able to brag about seeing before they got “big”.

And our final recommendation for this Warehouse Project event, check out Piu Piu – a French singer/songwriter/DJ whose dreamy beats bounce between genres in the most beautiful way. Her residency at Rinse France led to this artist performing at Boiler Room this year and cementing her place in the Paris DJ scene. And we can’t wait to see what this woman can bring to England!

Tickets are still available online – being one of the few Warehouse Project events to not sell out this year – and definitely worth the investment. Because Warehouse Project has never been all about the big names, but introducing you to the stars of the future. See you there!
