EVERYONE’S favourite thing to do is enjoy some good food and drink, right? Well why not head down to Wilmslow Food and Drink Festival 2017!

Manchester village Wilmslow is set to host its third Food and Drink Week this year from 24th-29th April, to celebrate the Food and Drink businesses in the local area.

“Wilmslow has a thriving town centre for foodies with both established and new restaurants,” Isobel Martin, Events Apprentice at the Wilmslow Business Group commented.

To encourage the residents and visitors of the town to discover and enjoy what it has to offer when it comes to food, The Wilmslow Business Group have put together a programme of events and special offers which will be going on throughout the week.

Sponsored by the newly refurbished Stanneylands Hotel, which is due to relaunch next month, the event will see restaurant’s, pubs, cafes and other hotels in the area participating to show off their wide variety of cuisines.

With something for everyone, the week consists of a mixture of events, to cater for anyone’s desires, with a pop up dining experience at Tru Kitchen, a pizza making party at Pizza Express, a cake competition to be judged at Bridgmans, a ladies’ fashion lunch at Saranfina and even a wine tasting event at Majestic Wine.

Copies of the Food & Drink Week programme can be picked up around the town, at April’s Artisan Market, The Library, Wilmslow Leisure Centre and several other food outlets.

Catherine Mackenzie, Chairman of Wilmslow Business Group said, “Following on from previous year’s successes Wilmslow will be hosting its third Food & Drink Week. This event always creates a buzz in the town and brings the community together.”

“Make sure to buy your tickets quick as they’re limited, have a delicious week!”
