YouTube sensations Rose and Rosie are coming to Manchester in April on their tour around the UK and we at VIVA are so excited to be able to chat with them!

After being able to grab a phone interview with the comedic couple, they told me about their tour and how excited they are for it.

Rosie told us “expect the unexpected, it will be like a live review, very spontaneous”.

The couple have often been open about their relationship through the use of their videos, which has allowed them to connect with subscribers on another level than other YouTube stars have. Fans and subscribers will be able to enjoy the couple raw and open like they’ve never been seen before, revealing new intimate thoughts about their relationship.

The audience can be expected to be taking part on stage with Rose and Rosie creating a real life YouTube video. What makes the couple more excited for their tour is that it’s their first one to date!

After asking them about how excited they were, the fun couple started giggling, showing how enthusiastic they are to see old and new fans and to put on a great show.

The now married couple have been together for 6 years and married for almost 2 and are still very much in love.

Rosie first started doing YouTube videos when she was studying film at university. Her first ever video being a parody of Tik Tok by Ke$ha. After meeting Rose through a mutual friend and at a Halloween party the pair set about creating the fun watchable videos together. At the time YouTube still wasn’t a huge popular thing so they had never once thought about how big and popular they would get.

The loving couple have showed that the secret to a great YouTube video is “to be yourself and have fun doing it”. The couple have addressed important LGBT issues through the use of social media, and even recorded their wedding video to show awareness of same sex couples.

I asked them how else they have helped the LGBT community take a step forward in equality.

Being modest Rose replied “we don’t see ourselves as role models” although they have won ‘celebrity rising star’ at the LGBT awards “we have normalised gay relationships by being normal”.

The couple will also be known by subscribers to have interviewed very big celebrities. I asked them about who the most interesting celebrity they have interviewed before. “urm.. Tom hanks. He’s a huge name for everyone and such a nice grounded person who put us at ease” Rose said. “For me interviewing Ashton Kutcher was my favourite because he was in every chick flick when I was younger and was real fun”.
