E.M.A had the pleasure of catching up with Andromedik at Tomorrowland Winter, where he was hitting the slopes with his girlfriend and playing some electrifying sets across the festival…
E.M.A – You are playing on the new Reflection Of Love stage tomorrow what can we expect from your set?
Andromedik – Not entirely sure yet it’s going to depend on the weather. I feel if the sun is shining you can play other tunes, but yeah it should be some feel-good drum and base, I’m looking forward to it.
E.M.A – Have you had the chance to hit the slopes for snowboarding or skiing?
Andromedik – I haven’t been on the slopes today as I got sunburnt and the snow yesterday was a bit mushy snowboarding, I haven’t been on the higher slopes yet because my girlfriend doesn’t want to go there, she is a beginner. I think this is my 17-time snowboarding, it’s one of my favourite things to do.
E.M.A – What performance are you eagerly anticipating the most this week?
Andromedik – It’s got to be Netsky on the Mainstage this Friday. We joined forces at the beginning of the week and played our first ever b2b set at the Cage, it was so much fun.
E.M.A – If you had the chance to step into the shoes of another DJ at Tomorrowland Winter, whose would you choose?
Andromedik – That’s a good question… I think Alesso, I like his melodies plus he is playing the sickest slot on the main stage and that is something I am aiming for as well.
E.M.A – We love your tune “The Feeling” with Lost Frequencies. How did that come about working with him?
Andromedik – At first, it was supposed to be a remix, but then I sent him an original one, and he was like, yeah, I like it, do you want to finish it together? I said yes. I went to the studio the next day, and two days after the record was finished, it was an organic process, and it’s been doing great.
E.M.A – What’s your favourite thing about Tomorrowland Winter?
Andromedik – I can combine my passion for snowboarding and music. It’s such a great festival.
