Billy Bibby and The Wry Smiles are sounding very ‘together’ on new single

Billy Bibby and the Wry Smiles have continuously gained recognition since their first gig in 2015 – and the North-Wales based group have now released their first single with their new line up.

The band, who’s music falls into the rock and alternative genres, released their new track Together? – and they will be playing Jimmy’s in Manchester’s Northern Quarter on Tuesday 6 March, as part of their UK tour.

Billy Bibby, the lead vocalist for the group, said the new music will push the boundaries of their sound and “take it to new levels whilst still maintaining the hooks that we look for when writing songs”.

Hear the new track below!

The band have already released an EP Bide YourTime back in 2016 and follow – up singles since then, and will be performing their catalogue of music along with the new line up in their UK tour. Their new track Together? is an excellently well produced recording with a familiar Arctic Monkeys sound that screams British rock.

The song features distorted guitars and layered vocals which produce a story that seems to revolve around feeling excluded within a complicated love triangle. Relatable?

With the release of Together? the band have found themselves on my personal music playlist and will certainly be added to many more playlists in the future as their grass roots fan base continues to expand.
