There’s a bottomless prosecco brunch at Velvet for Manchester Pride revellers

Canal Street’s Velvet Hotel, Bar & restaurant is to host a fantastic line up of DJs and outdoor entertainment during this year’s Manchester Pride, as well as a bottomless brunch.


From Friday 24th to Monday 27th August, Velvet Hotel, Bar & Restaurant in collaboration with No.1 Canal Street will host an outdoor stage with a full stocked bar and entertainment.


There will be music from our very own VIVA Ems  – E.M.A – with Sandro Valentino, DJ Rick Parker, Andy Wells and Tom Da Lips and Manchester’s legendary Jamie Bull playing over the Big Weekend.

The bottomless prosecco brunch will be served on Sunday to Monday from 10am until 4pm in the Velvet Restaurant, which will return to serve some classic dishes before returning to Mr. White’s English Chophouse after the festival.


If guests pre-book, the brunch costs just £27 per person and includes one brunch dish and unlimited prosecco! YES, UNLIMITED PROSECCO!


The restaurant will be open until 10pm before turning into a bar open until 4am to continue the Pride celebrations into the early hours.


Kim Eivind Krohn, owner of KRO Hospitality, explains: “Manchester Pride is one of the biggest parades and festivals for raising awareness of LGBT issues and causes.


“This year there is a spectacular line up of entertainment, with the likes of Studio 54 disco legend Nicky Siano, Jellybean Benitez, Rita Ora, Pete Tong, Jake Shears and Alexandra Burke.


“We will be keeping the party going at Velvet all weekend and while we are hosting a three-day party with a bottomless brunch – because good food is as important as a

good time.


“Velvet Restaurant will be making a comeback and serving its famous dishes and we look forward to seeing some familiar faces celebrating the festival with us.
