As the music stops and the lights dim on the 10th anniversary of the ever popular family friendly festival that is Camp Bestival, it will be remembered for not only the amazing performances of the eclectic line up of artists but by the never ending good natured and stoic audience that never once seemed to be put off by the unruly weather. The previous nine years had been sunshine all the way but on this 10th year the Gods decided to make up for it hopefully a good omen for the future we think.

Whenever we come to Camp Bestival we are immediately aware of the level of friendliness that permeates around the festival from the security people, organisers to the party goers, it seems everyone is having a great time and in this uncertain world that is exactly what people want.

As a festival that majors on family fun there are just tons of things to do such as sand pit play, story telling, face painting, dressing up, the worlds biggest bouncy castle, discos and the art town for the creatives at heart… the list goes on and on.  It also has plenty of attractions for adults and couples with amazing food from around the world, theatre, circus and late night dance anthems as well as the great variety of acts that graced the Castle stage and the other stages around the festival site.

Josie and Rob Da Bank who curate the line up for Camp Bestival seem to pitch it just right with something for everyone. This year the list of performers included headliners Madness, Brian Wilson, Mark Ronson, All Saints, Kate Nash, Holly Johnson, Leftfield, DJ Yoda, the Bootleg Beatles and the ever brilliant Cuban Brothers who are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
