CHESHIRE: Chester Races reveals exclusive concept with Aiden Byrne for new racing season

Staying true to its ethos of demonstrating innovation in both the racing and high-end leisure industry, Chester Racecourse has revealed it will be working with restaurant MCR’s Aiden Byrne for its most ambitious race day dining concept to date.
‘Parade with Aiden Byrne’ is an intimate, stylish, invite-only, live-sports entertainment experience that promises to be ‘one of the best at any sporting venue’ and launches in time for the start of a new season at the 2019 Boodles May Festival.
The grand unveil will take place on Wednesday the 8th of May and run for the duration of the 2019 season. Parade with Aiden Byrne is a luxurious trackside venue, positioned in the ultimate location for any race-goer, alongside the finishing post. Hosting just 60 guests in an intimate setting; design, indulgence, impeccable service and fine dining are the focus, all overseen by the renowned chef.
Aiden’s influence over the food for Parade is integral and he will be creating a seasonal, six-course tasting menu on race days. Having secured a Michelin star aged just 22 – the youngest chef to do so at the time – his career journey has taken in a number of the nation’s finest and best recognised dining establishments.

The open plan kitchen will provide theatre, creating the perfect ambience, whilst the menu features a range of seasonal dishes, using local suppliers that I believe in. With interior design collaboration from award-winning interior designer Michelle Derbyshire and A Styled Lifestyle, Parade with Aiden Byrne will offer a luxurious haven on the racecourse, featuring a summer garden roof bar and viewing terrace. When the racing draws to a close, the celebratory atmosphere will continue into the evening with a resident DJ and cocktail mixologists transforming the space into the most desirable night spot in Chester.
