Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley’s husband is set to make his TV debut

Actress Catherine Tyldesley, more commonly known as Coronation Street’s beloved blonde barmaid Eva, isn’t the only star in her household. Her husband, Tom Pitfield, is set to make his own TV debut in a new ITV show called Eat, Shop, Save.

The show will be hosted by Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh and will aim to help families “eat, shop and save their way to happiness”. Tom will star as one of the experts of the programme giving advice on how to lead a healthy lifestyle.

The new ITV show is a perfect new venture for Tom as he already works as a freelance fitness consultant at Hale  Country Club in Cheshire which is where he first met Catherine in 2014.

Tom said: “I’m very excited to be part of the expert team within the new ITV1 factual series Eat, Shop, Save which will start in the Summer.

“I’ve been in the industry over 10 years and I’ve learned that reaching out to families as a whole is very important for changes to diet, exercise and lifestyle to become part of daily life.”

Leading a healthy lifestyle is something that the Pitfield family do on a daily basis and now promote. They’ve started an Instagram called @ThePitfields that already has over 3,400 followers.

The family are no strangers to trying to help and advise others on how to live better as Catherine in 2015 also had an ITV show that tackled the issue of dieting in Diet Fact, Diet Fiction?.

He added: “As I am a dad and very family orientated, I know how crucial it is to set a good example with a healthy lifestyle.

“I’m sure Eat, Shop, Save will educate and motivate a lot of people.”

Proud wife Catherine congratulated him on Instagram for the new career venture.

The couple married back in 2016 in the luxury wedding venue, Colshaw Hall in Cheshire. They also are proud parents to their two-year-old Alfie.
