Cut price car hire: How to get one for less than the price of a cup of coffee

SAM | 6th October 2019

Avoid the restrictions of bus and train timetables, or the expense of taxis and airport car park charges, as one car hire company is offering cut-price car rental that’s too good to miss.

Europcar £1 OneWay is ideal for anyone heading to the airport, as well as people making trips to cities around the UK.

Designed to help get the company’s vehicles back to where they are needed for their next booking, the £1 deal means customers can rent a car for 24 hours for less than the price of a cup of coffee.

From Manchester to London or Inverness to Penzance, travellers can set off from a variety of locations to many of the UK’s airports including Gatwick, Luton, Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham as well as numerous city destinations.

There are over 190 routes to choose from and with vehicles in economy-size and above there’s even plenty of room for the luggage.

“Travellers may wonder how we can offer car rental for just £1”, explains Gary Smith, Managing Director.

“There is a logical reason behind this service.  We often need to re-locate a particular vehicle, so that it’s ready for its next rental.

“However, transporting the vehicle by truck is very expensive. So if our customer can pick up and drop off the vehicle where we need it, they can use the car for a whole day for just £1.

“This means we get our vehicles where they’re needed – and our customers get a fantastic deal.”

All you need to do is visit the website and use the interactive map to select the best route for your journey.
